Dasghara is a small village situated near the famous temple town of Tarakeshwar in Hooghly with incredible European architecture blended with Terracotta works which is considered one of the finest in the region. There are two famous estates in the village- The Bisaws Bari and the Roy Bari.

Dasghara is around 70 Kms from Central Kolkata and can be reached either through train to Tarakeshwar from Howrah.

If one drives down, avail Durgapur Expressway and then after approx 15 -16 kms from Singur take left from Dhaniakhali connector to reach Dasghara.
